Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about ordering, artwork, production, delivery and claims.
Ordering and product selection
How do I place an order and find the right product?
Browse categories or filter by use, colour, material and printing method. On the product page choose the variant, quantity and decoration, upload artwork, add to cart and check out. If the option is not listed, contact our sales team.
What determines the price and what does “Price from” mean?
“Price from” is the lowest available variant price. The final amount depends on the product, material, quantity, colour, printing method and area, number of print positions, artwork preparation and delivery.
What is the minimum quantity and can I order one sample?
The minimum is shown on each product page. A single sample can often be arranged even when the displayed minimum is higher; ask us by WhatsApp, contact form, email or phone.
Can I buy without printing or request a custom quote?
Yes. Unprinted products and quotes for unusual or large orders are arranged through the contact form, WhatsApp, hello@printmarket.ee or +372 609 3439.
Printing and personalisation
Which printing and finishing methods are available?
Digital and wide-format printing, offset, screen printing, DTF, UV DTF, heat-transfer vinyl, embroidery, embossing and debossing, foil stamping, die cutting, engraving and plotter cutting. See Our Services.
How do I choose a method? Is full-colour or white printing possible?
The choice depends on material, quantity, artwork, durability and budget. Full-colour is available with many methods. White ink is not available in every process; standard digital paper printing, for example, normally does not print white. We will recommend the best option.
Can every item have a different name or number, and can several areas be printed?
Yes. Personalisation is already an option for some products and can be quoted separately for others. Several print positions are possible when the product construction provides suitable print areas.
What is the maximum print size and can you print on customer-supplied items?
The maximum is limited by the product’s printable area or media width and is usually shown on the product page. Printing customer-supplied items is possible, with method, testing, risk and price agreed separately.
Artwork and design
Which file formats do you accept?
A vector PDF is preferred. We also accept high-resolution TIFF, JPEG and PNG. DTF and UV DTF need a transparent background; engraving, plotter cutting and embossing require vector artwork and correct contours.
CMYK or RGB, and should fonts be outlined?
Prepare artwork in CMYK. We can convert RGB, but colours may shift. Black values must suit the process; a rich composite black may be used for large solid areas. Convert every font to outlines to prevent font substitution.
What are bleed and safe area? How do I export them from Canva?
Keep important content at least 5 mm inside the trim line and extend backgrounds 3–5 mm beyond it. In Canva enable “Show print bleed” and margins, extend the background to the outer edge, then choose PDF Print and enable crop marks and bleed.
Do you check artwork and send a visual proof?
We check for common technical problems and contact you if quality or format is unsuitable. A complete content check cannot be guaranteed, so follow our artwork guide. A visual proof is supplied on request or whenever approval is required.
Can you design the artwork and how long is it stored?
Yes. Design work is €45 per hour; scope and an estimated cost are agreed beforehand. Additional revisions increase the time. Final artwork is retained for repeat orders for 12 months.
Colours, materials and sizes
Why can printed colours differ from my screen?
A monitor emits light in RGB/sRGB, while print reflects light and is normally made with CMYK inks. Screen calibration, material, machine profile, lighting and coating also affect appearance, so an on-screen colour is a guide rather than a guaranteed reference.
Can you match Pantone exactly?
Offset and screen printing can use a dedicated Pantone ink and provide the closest match. CMYK processes simulate the colour by mixing Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, so the result can be close but not always identical.
What does Natural mean and how are multi-colour products shown?
Natural is the uncoloured shade of wood, linen, cotton or another raw material. A two- or three-part swatch represents actual product components, such as body and cap, notebook cover and elastic, or separate bag panels.
How current is availability and can I order a custom size?
Stock is updated daily, so displayed products are likely available. The Custom Size Printing category covers posters, banners, signs and other products made to your dimensions.
Can I change the material, model or colour?
Yes, if agreed before production starts. Once manufacturing has begun, substitution is normally no longer possible.
Price, VAT and payment
How is VAT displayed and is printing included?
The product page shows the price excluding VAT and the total quantity price including VAT. Once you select a printing method and its options, that printing cost is included in the calculated total.
Why does the unit price fall at higher quantities?
Setup and artwork costs are spread across more units and quantity discounts apply. For quantities outside the online calculator, our sales team will prepare a separate quote.
Which payment methods are available?
Estonian bank links, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank cards are available. Card payment on collection can be agreed with the seller. Bank transfer is also supported.
Do you issue VAT invoices and offer payment terms?
Yes. VAT invoices are issued by the Estonian company Print Market OÜ. Approved regular business customers may receive deferred payment terms.
Production and lead times
What is the standard production time?
Many products take 2–4 or 3–5 working days. Large or complex orders may take longer, but we aim to complete most larger runs within two weeks.
When does production time start?
From the next working day after payment and receipt of print-ready artwork. If approval or corrections are needed, timing starts after final approval.
Can I place an urgent order?
Yes, when production capacity, material availability and the chosen process allow it. Availability and any rush charge must be agreed in advance.
What can delay production and can it be split into batches?
Missing materials in Estonia, equipment failure, high volume, extended approval, component delivery and public holidays can add time. Production can be divided into batches by agreement.
Delivery and collection
Where and how do you deliver?
Courier, Omniva and DPD parcel terminals are available in Estonia. We also ship to Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden and by courier to almost every EU country; DPD terminals are available where the network operates.
How much does delivery cost?
It depends on destination, delivery method, dimensions and quantity. In most cases the exact price is shown during checkout.
Where can I collect and how do I track my shipment?
Collection is at Tuukri põik 3, Tallinn. After dispatch you receive a tracking code and link.
What if the parcel arrives damaged?
Keep the packaging, take photos and video from several angles and contact us immediately. We will open a carrier claim and agree on replacement, reproduction or refund as appropriate.
Changes and cancellation
Can I change quantity, colour, model or artwork?
Increasing quantity is usually possible with additional payment. Reducing quantity, replacing an item or changing artwork is possible only before production starts. Later changes depend on work already completed.
Until when can I cancel?
Before production begins. If special materials have been purchased or work has started, cancellation is assessed individually.
What is refunded after cancellation?
If Print Market has incurred no costs, payment is refunded in full. Otherwise, documented material and production costs are deducted.
How can I check order status?
Use your customer account or contact the sales team through the form, WhatsApp, email or phone.
Returns and claims
Can personalised goods be returned?
The normal 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to goods made to individual specifications. You can still make a claim if goods are defective, do not match the order or were damaged in delivery.
What counts as a production defect?
Material distortion of approved artwork, print that peels or lacks normal durability, or a product that does not meet its stated specifications, where the cause lies with production.
How do I report a problem?
Contact us promptly with the order number, description, well-lit overview and close-up photos from several angles, and video or packaging photos when relevant.
How quickly is a claim reviewed and who pays for reprinting?
Initial review normally begins on the day we receive the evidence. Reproduction caused by our error is at our expense; reproduction caused by customer-approved artwork is paid by the customer.
How long do I have to make a consumer claim?
Consumers have a statutory two-year right to make a claim for defects and should notify the seller within two months of discovering non-conformity. Contractual terms apply to B2B orders.
Business orders and sustainability
Do you work with companies and agencies?
Yes, throughout the EU. You can receive a dedicated manager, special large-run pricing and order a complete event or brand package, from display stands to business cards and sticker packs.
Can parts ship to different addresses and can I repeat an order?
Yes, a manager can arrange split delivery. Artwork is stored for 12 months, so orders can be repeated after current price and availability are confirmed.
Which sustainable materials are available?
Options include FSC-certified paper, wood and metal products with less plastic, recycled materials and PVC-free media. Availability depends on product and quantity.
What packaging is used and are certificates available?
Where possible we use cardboard and recyclable packaging, plus inks and materials with low hazardous-substance content. Product or material certificates can be supplied on request when available from the manufacturer.
