UV DTF Printing on Products & Packaging in Tallinn

UV DTF printing is a transfer printing technology that applies full-colour graphics to hard surfaces using a specialised transfer film. The design is printed with UV-curable inks, laminated with an adhesive layer and transferred directly onto the finished product without heat or additional equipment.

The technology is ideal for logos, text, illustrations, photographs and complex multi-colour artwork with fine details. UV DTF makes it possible to decorate finished products with irregular shapes that cannot easily be printed directly using a flatbed UV printer.

UV DTF printing is widely used for packaging, bottles, jars, drinking glasses, tumblers, thermoses, containers, boxes, plastic products, glass items, metal products, promotional merchandise, electronic accessories and many other objects with smooth, rigid surfaces.

Unlike traditional vinyl stickers, UV DTF transfers have no visible background or contour. After application, only the printed elements remain on the surface, creating an appearance similar to direct printing. An opaque white layer ensures vivid colours on transparent, coloured and dark materials, while the protective varnish adds depth, gloss and durability.

No heat press is required for application. The transfer is applied manually by positioning the film on a clean surface, pressing it firmly and then removing the carrier film. The final durability depends on the material, surface texture, proper preparation and operating conditions.

The best results are achieved on clean, smooth and degreased surfaces. The technology is not recommended for textiles, highly textured, porous, dusty or oily materials, or surfaces that are constantly bent or deformed.

The price depends on the artwork size, number of designs, print area, artwork complexity and production quantity. Multiple small graphics can be arranged on a single print sheet, making production more economical.
